The ccTLD, meaning Internet Country Code Top-Level Domain, for Costa Rica is .cr. It is managed by the National Academy of Sciences. It is available for International companies as well as Local, both are able to apply.

The National Academy of Sciences work hard to prevent any abusive registration of domain names and any trademarks made under the law of intellectual property will be protected.
